Brief Description:
Much more than just babysitting, Mosaic Children's Ministry provides the opportunity to instill core values in children from a young age. It's purpose is to encourage and equip them with lessons for everyday life, while teaching them the love, value, and purpose that they have in Christ.
Opportunities to Serve:
- Bible Storyteller/Master Teacher: Communicates the Bible story in a creative, attention-gripping way. The sole responsibility of the Bible Storyteller is to teach K-5th grade in a large group setting, split into2 class times K-3rd and 4th and 5th on their scheduled Sunday morning. This does not require small group involvement.
- Children’s Worship Team: Lead children and small group leaders in a meaningful time of worship through music.
- Small Group Leader: Becomes the primary guide for a group of up to 10 children. Encourages spiritual growth through relationships, discussion, and other small group activities.
- Small Group Leader Assistant: Will assist small group leader in any way that is needed.
- Children’s Check-in Greeter: Welcomes families as they arrive to the check-in desk. Checks in children and communicates procedures for drop off and pick up with parent or guardian. Must be available and willing to stay at the check-in desk throughout the entire service.
- Hall Monitor/ Floater: Provides classroom support to all small group leaders and check-in greeters; assists in moving kids to and from large group time.
- Toddler-5 yrs Teachers: Teacher will lead lesson and playtime for the “little ones”.
- Toddler-5 yrs Assistant: Will assist classroom teacher in any way that is needed.
- Nursery Leaders and Assistants: Will give support to parents by caring for infants during service time.
- Weekly Snack Preparation: Communicate with Children's Ministry leader on your scheduled week to plan for and provide snacks during the Sunday Children's Church hour.
